director, screenwriter, and film producer. Abbosov was best known for
his film Mahallada duv-duv gap () which is considered to be one of the
best Uzbek films of all time. He was known for writing the screenplay
for the highly-popular adventure film Shum bola.[citation
needed]Abbosov was celebrated as one of the founders of the Uzbek film
making industry.He received many honorary titles and awards, including
the titles People's Artist of the Uzbek SSR and People's Artist of the
USSR. Many of Abbosov's films have been included into the Russian
Cinema Academy's Golden Fund of Soviet Cinema's Classics.Shuhrat
